Meet in parking lot behind Sammy"s in Castroville.  Sammy's is at the third traffic light. Distant and route will be determined at the start of the ride with group input.  For more info see Sue.  Guests are welcome to ride and join us for lunch afterwards.

​Tobin Park at Salado Creek

Where:  
Tobin Park Trailhead, 2126 NE Loop 410, San Antonio.
Description:  
Enjoy the outdoors with a ride on the Salado Creek Greenway with this ride. Pick your ride, easy pace with group, or ride your own pace. Nice wide paved trails suitable for most bikes. For details see Judy, 210-218-1831. Guests are welcome to ride and have lunch with us after the ride.

Location: Tobin Park is on the south frontage road of Loop 410 that travels eastbound between Harry Wurzbach and Starcrest Roads. Note: The park is only accessible on the Loop 410 frontage road traveling east from Harry Wurzbach.

Tuesday Morning Ride, (every week)
Leon Creek Trail, Mainland Trail Head

8241 Mainland Street
8:00 AM (Note: this the new summer ride time)
​Meet us for an approximate 26 mile ride on the Leon Creek Trails.  The trail head is at the end of Mainland Street just off Bandera Rd across the cul-the-sac from Walmart.  This location will allow us to ride south on the trails to the Ingram Trail Head, then back to Mainland, then north to the Valero Trail Head on Loop 1604.  The trails are mostly shady with a few small rolling hills.  The main trails are paved so any bike will be suitable.  Ride Leaders, Vivian, 210-387-5130, for Ray, 210-394-0854, (If weather is questionable, ride may be canceled, text us.)

Wednesday Ride, (every week)
Port San Antonio Ride
5:00 PM 
Meet in the parking lot by the bowling alley on Port San Antonio.  This is a casual ride at a leisurely pace on flat terrain.  Suitable for beginners or experienced riders wanting a mid-week workout.  Approximately 12 miles.  Guests are welcome to join us for a ride and dinner afterwards.  Ride Leader, Vern, 210-275-5637.
New Directions:  From Hwy 90 take Gen. McMullen exit, go south on Gen. McMullen to Port San Antonio, continue straight across Bill Mitchell Blvd, turn right on Gen Hudnell, continue west on Gen Hudnell towards the flightline. Turn right into parking lot JUST BEFORE Industrial Park Rd, next to bowling alley.

Friday Morning Ride, (every week)
​The V & V Friday Ride in Castroville
8:00 AM
Meet Vern, Vivian, and others in the lot behind Sammy's for this ride.  This ride is about 28 to 34 miles over mostly flat terrain at an easy to moderate pace. Route may vary according to input from group.  Guest are welcome to join us on this ride and for lunch afterwards.  Ride Leaders, Vivian & Vern, 210-275-5637.
Directions:  Take Hwy 90 west bound to Castroville.  Sammy's is on the left at the third traffic light.  Park in the lot behind Sammy's, not in the lot across the street.
