Sunday, Apr 30th
Castroville to Lytle
9 am
Where:
Take Hwy 90 West to Castroville. Sammys is on the left at the third traffic light when westbound just before the river bridge. Park in the lot behind Sammy's.
Description:  
This ride starts in Castroville for a ride of 28 to 34 miles. Ride at your own pace or choose a group for a ride over mostly flat terrain. This ride is similar to the Friday ride. Meet Vern for more info, 210-275-5637. Guests are always welcome to ride and join us for lunch.

OUR WEEKDAY RIDES

Tuesday Morning Ride, (every week)
Leon Creek Trail, Mainland Trail Head

8241 Mainland Street
9:00 AM... Note the new springtime start time!
​Meet us for an approximate 26 mile ride on the Leon Creek Trails.  The trail head is at the end of Mainland Street just off Bandera Rd across the cul-the-sac from Walmart.  This location will allow us to ride south on the trails to the Ingram Trail Head, then back to Mainland, then north to the Valero Trail Head on Loop 1604.  The trails are mostly shady with a few small rolling hills.  The main trails are paved so any bike will be suitable.  Ride Leaders, Vivian, 210-387-5130, for Ray, 210-394-0854, (If weather is questionable, ride may be canceled, text us.)

Beginning on May 3rd, we will be doing this ride in the morning and and the afternoon.
Wednesday Ride, (every week)
Port San Antonio Ride
5:00 PM and 8:00 AM after May 3rd)
Meet in the parking lot by the bowling alley on Port San Antonio.  This is a casual ride at a leisurely pace on flat terrain.  Suitable for beginners or experienced riders wanting a mid-week workout.  Approximately 12 miles.  Guests are welcome to join us for a ride and dinner afterwards.  Ride Leader, Vern, 210-275-5637.
New Directions:  From Hwy 90 take Gen. McMullen exit, go south on Gen. McMullen to Port San Antonio, continue straight across Bill Mitchell Blvd, turn right on Gen Hudnell, continue west on Gen Hudnell towards the flightline. Turn right into parking lot JUST BEFORE Industrial Park Rd, next to bowling alley.

Thursday Morning Ride, (every week)

​The V & V Friday Ride in Castroville
8:00 AM after May 5th
Meet Vern, Vivian, and others in the lot behind Sammy's for this ride.  This ride is about 28 to 34 miles over mostly flat terrain at an easy to moderate pace. Route may vary according to input from group.  Guest are welcome to join us on this ride and for lunch afterwards.  Ride Leaders, Vivian & Vern, 210-275-5637.
Directions:  Take Hwy 90 west bound to Castroville.  Sammy's is on the left at the third traffic light.  Park in the lot behind Sammy's, not in the lot across the street.
